Which data, and why
- Your request. The condition and characteristics of the vehicle, the price you would like, its postcode, your photos, your name, your phone number and, if you give it, your email address. We use them to prepare our offer, to contact you and to arrange the collection. Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- WhatsApp. If you choose to send your request on WhatsApp, your message and your number are also processed by WhatsApp under its own rules. A copy of the request reaches us through the website at the same time, so that it does not get lost.
- A completed purchase or sale. Contract and invoice data are kept to meet our accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Your calls and emails. We process them in order to reply.
- Use of the website. This website does not measure its audience.
- Security. Our hosting provider records technical data, including the IP address, to protect the website against abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
We take no automated decisions about you and we do not carry out profiling.
Your photos
Please send photos of the vehicle only. If a number plate or a person appears, the image is used for the valuation only and is never published.
Who receives your data
Only First Auto uses your data. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising purposes. Service providers process it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, États-Unis): website hosting, protection against abuse.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 9-17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France): delivery of requests to our mailbox.
The website keeps no copy of your request: it is delivered to us by email, together with your photos.
Transfers outside Europe
Cloudflare and WhatsApp are American companies: data may be processed in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
For how long
- A request that goes no further is deleted 12 months after our last contact.
- If a purchase or sale is completed, the documents are kept for the period required by accounting and tax law.
Your rights
You may ask to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing or to receive it in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest.

Cookies and other trackers
This website uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies, and its own code stores nothing in your browser. That is why no consent banner appears.
To protect the website against an attack, our hosting provider may exceptionally set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Fonts are hosted on this website: your browser contacts no third-party service to display them.
Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp or Car-Pass take you to services that apply their own rules.
